Blue sky Mongolia

Mongolia is landloked country located in Central Asia between Russia and China. It covers in area 1.566.5 square kms. The population Mongolia 2.3 milion and the vast majority otion is Khalkh mongols \almost 90%\ We the rest are Kazakhs or other ethnic group. The primary language is Mongolian. The capital city is Ulaanbaator. Most of the population Tibetian Buddhist. Mongolia has severe climate when summer highest temperatures average around +25 degrees' while winter lows average around -25 degrees. The mean annual precipitation is 200-300mm. Mongolia is the land of winds'in the Gobi and steppe areas storms reach 15-25 metres per second. Mongolia is famous for its wild nature. Its called the land of blue sky.

Ulaanbaator city.  Ulaanbaatar the capital city of  Mongolia is situated between four mountains in the basin of the Tuul river. This city called White Fairy of Asia was founded in 1636. Ulaanbaatar means Red Hero. Before the People's Revolution Ulaanbaatar was named Urguu. Present UB is modern and beautiful city. Its the political' economic' cultural' commercial and scientific centre of Mongolia. The most enteresting place to visit are the Gandantegchilen Monastery'the Palace Museum of Bogd-khan, Choijin Lama's monastery-museum, Sukhbaatar square, the museum of Natural History, Zaisan hill monument and the National Recreation Centre. There 6 district in UB. Many important events with International and World importance take place in UB. In October 1999 the whole country will celebrate the 360th anniversary of the foundation of the UB city.

 Chinggi was Mongol conqueror who founded the largest land empire in history. He ruled an area that stretched across central Asia from Caspian Sea to the Sea of Japan. He was born in 1660 in the family of Eysukhei Baatar and his wife Oolun. Temuujin ( Chinggis Khan's childhood name) lost his father who was poisoned by Tatars when he was a child. As a child he experienced a hard life. Temuujin's father was the chief of a small Mongolian tribe.Temuujin inherited  that position at about the age 13. Soon he began to attack his followers and build an army. He used harsh trianing and strict dimain ciplineto createa superior fighting the quickly adopted new tactics and weapons. Temuujin appointed officers on the basis of achievement instead of for their family connections, as was customary. In this way he gained officers who would remain loyal to him alone...

We are offering a Mongolian traditional ger yurt for your bidding. We call it Ger. Some people call it gher or yurt. It is New and made in Mongolia. A traditional Ger tent is a round wooden-framed covered in durable white waterproof material. There are 5 layers to stucture of this ger. There are the wooden walls,colmns,roof poles,each with a round shapf and a long,tapering square sectioned head. The covers are of thick warm cloth material, with a cotton outer layer. Traditionally the roof poles and walls are made of larch. Nowadays carpenters use factory refined woods. The crown and door made of pine. The crown or toono is a solid,heavy timber wheel with a raised eight-spoke center. This ger has Mongolian national patterns. The packed ger can be easily transported in small van or car. Color is white.
